I admit it, I'm an asshole (RE UPPED)

New song titled "Asshole". The people at school have been telling me I'm cockier than usual lately (the fuck?) so being the clever person I am, I fueled that into a concept. But we do it gully over here so no DSLR quality pictures and amazing Dr. Dre mastering quality. We got flicks sent straight from my sidekick through tmail and like Dilla said, shit sound like it's off the mothafuckin casette. Peep the links

Hypebeast Forum Producer Contest

"What's good everyone? Here's part 2 of an experiment that worked pretty well last time.

The rules are simple: I provide an original song and then several different producers volunteer to take the song sample it, flip it and come out with their very own beat. I put up a poll and then HB members vote on who the best one was.

Last time Kingkoor won by sampling Paul McCartney's "222"

This week I'm picking "Wild Is The Wind" by the legendary Nina Simone. I've heard this song before, but I went to see Benjamin Buttons today and one of the trailers was Revolutionary Road and it contained this song. As soon as I heard it I knew it would be perfect for this competition.

Its a jazz song, moody and dark but moving and beautiful. It may be a little more challenging for you guys cause of the pacing, but that's the point. I'd love to hear what u can do with this.

First things first though. I need people to enter into the challenge. Just like last time I'll give you guys 2 days to enter and I'll close down entry Tuesday. After we get every member in then you can submit the beat you make and i'll give u 2 days to make it. Participation like last time would be great. So here's the song"

I have entered in this producers contest. I frequently post on the boards under the name AlwayS_DreSSeD and took part in the last one.

Nas and Kanyeezy are at it again. Their last collaboration was "Still Dreaming" off of Hip Hop Is Dead in 2006 and this one doesn't disappoint. via Hypetrak
